The lovely, peaceful environment at our cat hotel is secure and purpose-built with both indoor and outdoor areas. Your cat can choose to sprawl out in the sun on the deck or relax indoors.
There are a variety of cat toys and climbing posts keeping your cat well entertained. Beds are snug, clean and spacious.
Our Story
Opened in 1996, Paws a While is a boutique Auckland cattery owned and operated by Kelly Keenan. Kelly is a registered Vet Nurse and has more than 30 years experience caring for cats.
Today we employ a number of cat loving staff to help operate our facility to the highest standard of care. All staff are fully trained and knowledgeable in cat care, from specific dietary requirements, to ensuring physical healthiness and of course giving your cat lots of cuddles and attention!

Fabulous. My 14 year cat had never been in a cattery, he settled well after a few days, and was so relaxed and happy during his few week stay while renovating our house. It was the best decision to have the skills and care of Kelly looking after him. Highly recommend
